The Night Ministry’s Capital Campaign: Raising funds to build a new shelter for homeless youth & purchase a new Health Outreach Bus.
To raise awareness of the organization, its programs, and impact in order to motivate major gifts and corporate/foundation donations.
How Project Contributes to Business Success
Like all non-profits, a diverse funding stream is important. Reinforcing current relationships and reaching new individuals, corporations, and foundations helps to do that.
- Current donors
- Friends and colleagues of current donors
- Current volunteers
- Corporate funders
- Foundation sponsors
Part of a team developing key messages for the Capital Campaign. Worked with designers to develop a Capital Campaign brochure. Using those visuals as the basis, created brochures and communications in-house to expand on key elements of the Campaign, such as:
- Youth Homelessness and the New Shelter (the need, building purchase, wall-smashing event, and more
- New Health Outreach Bus
- Legacy Society Campaign
We reached the Campaign goal primarily through individual conversations, where campaign materials were used to help move the conversation along.
Expanding the potential audience of attendees. With a limited number of major donors emotionally engaged with the organization
